Time Warner Cable San Antonio Expands Relationship With Creative Civilization.

Time Warner Cable San Antonio has expanded its working relationship with Creative Civilization-An Aguilar/Girard Agency to include an image empowerment campaign for the corporation. Creative Civilization began work for Time Warner Cable San Antonio on various product and promotional advertising efforts in January 2003.

The new branding and communications initiative encompasses both creative and public relations activities, including the creation of an umbrella theme, logo, advertising and collateral materials to communicate the depth of Time Warner Cable’s involvement in the community.

“Time Warner Cable participates in a wide range of community issues, events and causes in San Antonio through our communications resources, employee volunteer base and through financial support,” said Jon Gary Herrera, director of government and public affairs. “Our goal is to be both a provider of high quality products and services along with our commitment to be the very best corporate citizen that we can be.”

Besides serving 330,000 customers in the San Antonio area, Time Warner Cable San Antonio works hand-in-hand with many non-profit organizations and numerous sponsored events. Currently, 200 of the cable company’s employees are volunteer members in the community.

According to Gisela Girard, president of Creative Civilization, the agency is developing a fully integrated communications campaign that will generate a heightened understanding of Time Warner Cable’s expansive role in the community.

“As we began to study our new assignment, it became obvious that we, like most San Antonians, are unaware of how Time Warner Cable is involved in the many aspects of our community,” said Girard. “We are looking forward to strengthening the awareness of their community involvement.”
