June 2, 2003
Univision premieres “Niña Amada Mía” (Precious One), the highly anticipated contemporary novela produced by Televisa that tells the story of the intense relationship between a widower and his three grown daughters. Taped at spectacular locations throughout Mexico, “Niña Amada Mía” debuts on the network on Monday, July 7, 2003, and will air weekdays from 9 pm to 10 pm ET/PT (8pm to 9 pm Central/Mountain Time).
Left motherless at a very young age, Isabela (Karyme Lozano), Diana (Mayrín Villanueva) and Carolina (Ludwika Paleta) grew up with their domineering father, Clemente (Eric del Castillo), a rich landowner. Now that the three are adults, their romantic involvements take center stage in their lives, with Clemente overseeing every step.
Isabela breaks her engagement to a man favored by her father for a young and handsome veterinarian, Victor (Sergio Goyri), who happens to be the obsession of her father’s new wife, Karina (Mercedes Molto), a conniving gold digger. Diana falls in love with her father’s fiercest enemy, Octavio (Otto Sirgo), brewing a storm of emotions and a love that is destined to be filled with obstacles and restraints. And Carolina, a free spirit, finds happiness with the son of the family’s loyal housekeeper-a choice Clemente does not approve of.
“Niña Amada Mía”, a captivating drama of love, will be seen on Univision Network Monday through Friday from 9 pm to 10 pm ET/PT (8pm to 9 pm Central/Mountain Time).
