Telemundo Premiers ‘Los Teens’.

Telemundo presents “LOS TEENS” the first Spanish-language television series to deal with the lives of Hispanic teenagers in the United States. “LOS TEENS” is a captivating series that takes a realistic look at the challenges facing teenagers in high school and at home: rivalries, love, dreams, fears and hopes. “LOS TEENS” premieres Wednesday, June 4 at 8PM/7c, only on Telemundo.
The series deals with issues of utmost importance not only for teenagers in our society, but also for their parents. The main characters, Diego, Ana, Santos, Julio, Valeria and Natalia will be impacted by circumstances and issues from real life such as virginity, teenage pregnancy, AIDS, drug use, divorced parents and loveless homes. At the end of key chapters, Telemundo will offer a hotline for families facing similar problems to those highlighted on the episode.
“The characters from ‘Los Teens’ will share the most important years of their lives with our viewers, offering them a window into the reality surrounding teenagers and giving them a better understanding of the daily lives Hispanic teens lead in the United States,” said Mimi Belt, vice president of programming development for Telemundo.
The series was shot almost entirely on location at a high school in the United States, giving a more realistic look to this dramatic series. Additionally, the production was created with state-of-the-art equipment and innovative filming techniques which guarantees a high-end quality product.
