Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste – 1st Anniversary.

María Celeste celebrates her first year anniversary with Telemundo network on May 2nd with many surprises and a week with red-hot stories.

Widely loved and respected, the star and managing editor of Telemundo’s “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste,” has recently received the 2003 ACE Award as the “Female Personality of the Year”; a star at the Celebrity Boulevard in the Dominican Republic and, very soon, she will be honored with another star in Calle Ocho in Miami.

Throughout her successful year, “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste” has been the most watched TV show in its time slot in New York City, surpassing the amount of viewers of both Spanish and English speaking stations. María Celeste has also contributed to Dateline/NBC, which experienced an increase in Hispanic viewers the night of her appearance. She has also appeared in daytime soap opera as a guest star on NBC’s “Passions”, which became an absolute success.

In the annual “Hot Celebrity Poll” conducted by People en Español, María Celeste was chosen by readers across the nation as the “most popular television personality”. She was also chosen by the editorial board of the magazine as “The Best of 2002”.
