La Opinión and KMEX-TV Univision 34 in Los Angeles announced the formation of an exclusive cross-promotional agreement.
The joint effort creates opportunities for both media companies to exchange and leverage each other’s editorial coverage as well as allowing the organizations to seek opportunities in cross-promotional activities. In addition, the pairing calls for the two entities to participate jointly in community affairs programs and initiatives that will benefit the Hispanic communities they serve.
Immediate plans call for La Opinión and KMEX-TV Univision 34 to develop a television segment around La Vibra, the weekly entertainment magazine published by La Opinión that is devoted to music, movies, clubs and restaurants and weekly events happening around the Los Angeles area. In addition, during KMEX-TV’s 11 p.m. newscast, key news headlines that will appear in La Opinión the following day will be announced on-air.
