Pérez-Feria – Managing Editor @ People en Español.

People en Español announced the appointment of Richard Pérez-Feria to Managing Editor. In his position, Pérez-Feria will be responsible for overseeing the editorial direction of the magazine. He succeeds Angelo Figueroa, the founding Managing Editor of People en Español. Figueroa will become an Editor-at-Large at TIME Magazine where he will write about various
topics. Additionally, he will work directly with AOL to develop Hispanic content for the AOL service.

Peréz-Feria brings more than 17 years experience to his new role. Most recently, he was the Editor-in Chief of 7×7, San Francisco’s premier fashion and celebrity magazine. Concurrently, he served as an editorial consultant to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Sunday magazine.

In 2000, Peréz-Feria joined Weider Publications, where, as Vice President, Editorial and Creative Services, he oversaw all editorial and creative aspects of this health and fitness publishing company. During his tenure, he launched several titles, including special newsstand issues of the company’s core magazines. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of SHAPE’s Fit Hollywood, JUMP, Fit Pregnancy Style and Strong.
