Felix Perez – GM @ Entravision WUNI-TV-Boston & WUVN-TV – Hartford.

Entravision Communications Corporation announced the appointment of Felix Perez as General Manager of its television stations, Univision WUNI-TV in Boston and Univision WUVN-TV in Hartford. Mr. Perez will oversee all operations at the stations, including advertising sales, local news programming and administration. He replaces Gary Marder, who recently passed away.

Felix Perez brings to Entravision almost two decades of experience in the Hispanic market. Most recently, Mr. Perez was Vice President of Marketing at Advertising and Marketing Solutions, Inc., where he provided marketing and advertising solutions to companies targeting the Hispanic market, including Ford, Audi and Chevrolet. Before joining Advertising and Marketing Solutions, Inc., Mr. Perez served as Senior Vice President of National Sales for Telemundo. Mr. Perez was also General Manager at Hispanic Broadcasting, where he ran the operations of two New York-based radio stations and supervised 120 employees. During his tenure he increased sales and cash flow and helped to improved audience share against an established competitor while increasing the stations’ visibility among community and business leaders.

Prior to joining Hispanic Broadcasting, Mr. Perez was President of Katz Hispanic Media where he successfully led initiatives that catapulted Katz into the lead position in national radio sales, almost tripling billings in three years. Mr. Perez started his career selling local radio for WJIT in New York before leaving to join the sales team at UNIVISION WXTV-41 in New York, where he subsequently served as Local Sales Manager and General Sales Manager.
