Maria Elena Llansa has been appointed to at-large seat on the NAB Radio Board by Radio Board Chair Ginny Morris.
Maria Elena Llansa is vice president of East Coast Sales for Spanish Broadcasting Systems and general manager of SBS’s Miami stations WCMQ-FM, WRMA-FM and WXDJ-FM. Llansa’s two-year term began in January. Previously, Llansa was head of sales for SBS’s New York stations. During her tenure in the New York market, she was involved with the Madison Project Initiative, a multiethnic coalition established to ensure fairness in advertising.
The National Association of Broadcasters is a full-service trade association that promotes and protects free, over-the-air local radio and television stations’ interests in Washington and around the world. NAB is the broadcaster’s voice before Congress, federal agencies and the courts. NAB also serves a growing number of associate and international broadcaster members.
