María Celeste Turns California Red HOT.

Telemundo announced that the Al Rojo Vivo star — María Celeste – will take a historic tour to California airing her show from the southern to the northern part of the state as a symbolic solidarity gesture to all Hispanic immigrants who come to the U.S. in search of the American dream. This California tour will broadcast during the week of January 27th – 31st (5pm ET / 4pm CT).
Al Rojo Vivo continues providing the best cutting-edge television with this journey which includes visits to the most important state universities, where there is a large Hispanic origin student population. This is the first time ever that a U.S. Hispanic television program broadcasts from different California universities for an entire week.
Maria Celeste will host Al Rojo Vivo from these universities on the following dates:
Monday, January 27 -University of California in San Diego – Gardens
Tuesday, January 28 -University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA)

Wednesday, January 29 -University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA)
Thursday, January 30 -University of California in Santa Barbara (UCSB) Marine Institute
Friday, January 31 -San Francisco State University (SFSU) Cesar Chávez Student Center
“Al Rojo Vivo will initiate the journey in the south and start traveling north, just like many of our immigrants,” said María Celeste. “We will also visit these universities in search of our students, who are the future of our community. Through this journey, we will bring together these two worlds, demonstrating that our immigrants work hard for a better life but, at the same time, our people are also obtaining an education to get ahead in life.”
In addition to anchoring Al Rojo Vivo, Maria Celeste also serves as managing editor of the show that airs Monday through Friday 5pm ET / 4pm CT. Al Rojo Vivo offers a different angle of the stories, including segments about the most important news in Latin America, immigration, health, among others.
