Telemundo 39 – KXTX has announced the managerial appointment of Zoltan Csanyi-Salcedo as News Director. Csanyi’s diverse knowledge in the Hispanic market together with his dynamism and experience in the fields of communication are valuable assets to the positioning of our company.

“Zoltan’s experience makes him ideal for this position. He will be a vital part of KXTX’s mission to serve Hispanic DFW,” says Jose Valle, VP, General Manager of KXTX, Telemundo 39.

Csanyi has over 20 years of broadcasting experience in both Spanish and general market television and radio. He was most recently news director for Univision in El Paso, TX, prior to that he was news operations manager at ABC in El Paso, TX. He has also held other positions as producer, assignments editor, radio program director, reporter and anchor; such objectivity and versatility will contribute to the continued growth of Telemundo 39 – KXTX in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Csanyi has been the recipient of several awards, including the Best Newscast Award from New Mexico Associated Press, beating out all English and Spanish language stations in El Paso and Albuquerque, NM in 2001.
