Telemundo Heats Up The Audience growth Race IN The November ’02 Sweeps.

Telemundo closed out the November 2002 sweep period (10/28/02-11/24/02) growing its critical adult 18-49 ratings by 12% compared to the previous year, while its main competitor, Univision, saw a 10% decline. The number of viewers also hit a record number during a November Sweeps, with TelemundoO’s A18-49 prime-time audience delivery increasing to 543,000.

“Our viewers continue to vote for TELEMUNDO’s innovative Spanish-language programming. We will continue to deliver for our growing audience and our advertisers,” said James McNamara, President and CEO of Telemundo.
