JUANES Announces Second Leg Of U.S. Concert Tour.

After “Selling-Out” All The Dates On His Acclaimed U.S Tour In September, And Now Repeating the Feat Throughout Spain, The Four-Time Latin Grammy Winner Plans A Second String Of American Dates In December

“Es Por Ti” – Second Single From Juanes’ Multi-Platinum Album Un Di Normal – Has Quickly Leaped Into The Top 10 Of Billboard’s “Hot Latin Singles Chart.” With International #1 Hit “A Dios Le Pido” Still Riding High After An Astounding 8 Months, Juanes Is The ONLY Artist With Two Songs Residing In The Top 20 This Week

“a rousing performance before an adoring crowd… … judging from his thrilling performance, he remains true to his roots and his heart.” – Agustin Gurza, Los Angeles Times

“They stood there, flush against the stage…members of America’s fastest-growing youth population – young, hip, and Latino – didn’t budge… they stood, nearly transfixed… “Juanes! Juanes! Juanes! they chanted… …makes you dance and think, the way U2 does at its best… It was Juanes at his raw best… His chiseled features make the girls swoon. But Juanes is all musician, all the time” – Cindy Rodriguez, Boston Globe – concert review

In the world of Latin rock, most “singles” (if they get any airplay at all), have an on-air life of two or three months. Upon the release of Juanes’ “A Dios Le Pido,” it became apparent early on, that would not be the case. The single went on to become a long-running #1 smash in over a dozen countries, and is now entering its eighth consecutive month on Billboard’s “Hot Latin Singles Chart”. While Latin radio across the country continued to embrace the track, audiences at all of Juanes’ sold-out American concert dates in September made it clear that they knew all of the tracks from both of Juanes’ acclaimed/Latin Grammy-winning albums, and wanted to hear more at radio. So, to meet this demand, second single “És Por Ti” was finally sent to radio – and the reaction has been swift. It seems the only reason that “A Dios Le Pido” is finally relinquishing a few chart spots is because “Es Por Ti” is quickly climbing – leaping into the Top 10 this week. As a result, Juanes is the ONLY artist with two songs charting in the Top 20 of Latin singles this week. As a result, look for even longer lines of fans hoping to see Juanes when he returns for the second leg of his U.S. tour in December. The dates confirmed thus far are:
