Ms. Latina World Pageant.

The Ms. Latina World Organization announced the Ms. Latina World Pageant will once again be held at Miami’s fashionable South Beach on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 21 – 23, with the finals held Saturday evening.

Entertainers for this year’s event will be Tito Puente, Jr. and direct from the Jenny Jones Show, Latin sensation Sophia Redondo. Judges for this year’s final event are Paolo of the Wilheminas Modeling Agency, Diana Montano, entertainment producer/reporter for the “De Mananita” show, and Luisa Fernanda, co-host of the daily celebrity gossip show “Cotorreando” on Telemundo/NBC. Also judging are Eva Hughes, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue en Espanol, and beauty consultant Oswaldo Lamon, former fashion editor for Latin celebrity news magazine Mira!

Now in its 10th year, the Ms. Latina Pageant awards over $100,000 nationally in cash and prizes to its contestants. On a national and international level, Ms. Latina USA and Ms. Latina World Pageant are fundraisers for the Ms. Latina scholarship program. “This program enables young Latina women to continue their education. It’s an event designed to increase cultural awareness and goodwill between countries,” said Dawn Ramos, founder of The Ms. Latina Pageant system and CEO and founder of Dawn Ramos Productions. On Thursday, November 21st, the preliminary evening gown competition will take place poolside at the Roney Palace. On November 22nd, the preliminary swimwear competition will take place onboard Sun Cruz Casino, a major sponsor of the Ms. Latina Florida and World Pageants.
