Fox Sports en Español & Terra.com In Content Deal.

Fox Sports en Español and Terra.com announced an exclusive content, sales and marketing alliance, creating unique and interactive programming for avid sports fans and highly targeted branding opportunities for marketers.

The site will feature exclusive content pertaining to high-profile events, including on-line audio and video streaming of game footage and interviews for the following properties where the channel is the exclusive broadcaster to the U.S. Hispanic market:

– Major League Baseball playoffs and World Series (2002-2003 seasons)
– Copa Libertadores
– Copa Panamericana
– Fútbol Argentino

“We are very excited about our new alliance with Terra.com in the U.S. Hispanic market,” said David Sternberg, General Manager of Fox Sports en Español. “This new co-branded sports Web site will add tremendous value from day one for our viewers, Terra’s on-line users and both companies’ sponsorship partners.”

The interactive site will exclusively feature Fox Sports en Español’s cutting-edge content, like original editorials and exclusive videos and photos. On-line fans will have access to audio and video clips from the playing field and live on-air contests and sweepstakes. The channel will also work to create three new free-to-play “fantasy” sports leagues each year for the U.S. Hispanic audience.

In addition, the integrated channel will utilize several of Terra.com’s key technology products and services, including its direct marketing platform, search technology, community chat functionality and integration into Mi Terra.
