NBA @ Telemundo Schedule 2002-2003.

The National Basketball Association and Telemundo announced the 2002-03 television schedule for NBA regular season games on Telemundo. As part of a recently announced historic agreement between the league and the network, Telemundo is an official Spanish-language network of the NBA, and will be the only network to have these 15 games broadcast live nationally in the U.S.
The inaugural game on Telemundo will air live on November 10th when the New Orleans Hornets take on the New York Knicks. Games will be televised on Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the season.
The NBA has one of the largest and fastest growing Hispanic fan bases among U.S. based professional sports. Approximately 64% of Hispanics are NBA fans and Hispanics make up 13% of the total NBA fan base. Hispanics make up a larger percentage of the total NBA fan base than they do for any of the other major U.S. pro sports leagues (ESPN Sports Poll–Full Year 2001).
