Fox Sports en Español 2002 MLB Playoffs & World Series.

Spanish-language telecasts of the Major League Baseball postseason will again be televised nationally on Fox Sports en Español, beginning with the Division Series on Tuesday, October 1 at 8:00 PM (ET). Fox Sports en Español licensed the Spanish telecast rights to the playoffs and World Series from FOX Broadcasting Company in 2001, making it the first broadcast deal for a major domestic sports championship on Spanish-language TV in the United States. FOX Broadcasting Company retains these rights through 2006.

Returning to host the pre-game coverage on Fox Sports en Español’s telecasts are Fernando Gonzalez and Jose Tolentino, who will intersperse their pre-game analysis with player interviews from the stadiums. The play-by-play responsibilities will again be shared by Rafael “Felo” Ramirez, Pepe Yniguez, Pepe Mantilla and former major league star Tito Fuentes.
