We are fortunate to have economist Tony Villamil contribute his extensive knowledge and experience to help our readers connect the dots and make sense of what is happening and where we are going in today’s complex and ever changing global marketplace,” said Carlos Modia, President of Ideas Publishing Group.

“I am thrilled to be writing for Newsweek en Español covering the issues and challenges facing hemispheric integration, so-called Darwinian Economics as it pertains to survival of the fittest companies and about the “new normal” economy under these times of great change and uncertainty” said Tony Villamil.

“Newsweek en Español’s editorial mission has been to provide our readers with a look at the world and Latin affairs from a different and fresh perspective than that provided by local publications. Leveraging Tony’s experience and resources will further enhance our ability to deliver a fresh and relevant perspective on what the reader needs to know in today’s global economy to thrive,” said José Chao, Publisher Newsweek en Español.
