Cabalquinto – VP Finance @ LA NBC/Telemundo Stations.

Jennifer Cabalquinto has been named Vice President of Finance for the Los Angeles NBC/Telemundo stations (KNBC, KVEA and KWHY). The announcement was made by Paula Madison, KNBC President/General Manager and Regional General Manager for the three NBC/Telemundo television stations in Los Angeles. Cabalquinto comes to the West Coast from Miami, Florida where she served as Vice President of Finance for the Telemundo owned and operated stations.

As Vice President of Finance for the NBC/Telemundo stations in Los Angeles, Cabalquinto is responsible for the strategic and long-term financial planning for the three (KNBC, KVEA and KWHY) stations and will oversee their finance departments, as well. She will be stationed at KNBC and will dual-report to Madison and Brian West, Senior Vice-President and CFO of NBC owned and operated stations.

Cabalquinto joined the Telemundo Group in 1997 as the Director of Financial Planning and was responsible for the budget process of the company’s eight owned and operated stations. In 1999 she was promoted to Director of Financial Operations and within two years became the VP of Finance, a position she has held until being named the VP of Finance for the Los Angeles NBC/Telemundo stations.

Prior to joining Telemundo, Cabalquinto was with Future Tech International, Inc. in Miami from 1994 to 1997 where she held a variety of finance positions. Cabalquinto began her career in finance in 1990 at Ernst & Young in New York as a Senior Auditor.
