Juncos Joins Ad Américas Management Team.

Liz Castells-Heard, President of Ad Américas, announced the addition of John Juncos, as Director of Strategic Services & Business Development.

In this newly created position, John will be closely involved in the agency’s premier Safeway account, as well as new business development and the launch of the agency’s re-branding efforts later this year.

Prior to joining Ad Américas, Juncos was a Sr. Vice President at Dailey & Associates in Los Angeles and led that agency’s Hispanic marketing services. Previously, as a Vice President at Grey Advertising he spearheaded Lucky supermarkets’ (now Albertson’s) dominance among Hispanic consumers. Later he became the Director of Advertising for Jack-In-The-Box restaurants. His 25 years of experience spans a variety of industry categories – supermarket, retail, packaged goods, fast food, automotive, financial, and the service sector. “What was interesting to me about Ad Américas was not only the significant growth that the agency has experienced with Liz at the helm, but that there is an overall vision and definitive goals for the future…there’s a level of energy at the agency that is palpable.”

“We’re delighted to have John join our team. His extensive experience, strategic insight and intuitive sense will add tremendous depth to our resources. The addition of John is the right move for the agency as we forge ahead with our aggressive growth plans,” said Castells-Heard.

Other recent staffing changes at the agency include the promotion of Alfred Valdez to Sr. Vice President, the creation of a Director of Creative Operations position headed by Karen Youngs, and the addition of Senior Producer Nadia Voukitchevitch, formerly with Castor Advertising in Miami.
