Entravision Acquires KRCY-FM In Las Vegas.

Entravision Communications Corporation EVC announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire radio station KRCY-FM serving the Las Vegas, Nevada market from Spectrum Scan, LLC for approximately $6 million in cash. Entravision is expected to begin operating the station by September 2002. The transaction is expected to close in the 4th quarter of 2002.

With the addition of KRCY-FM, Entravision will own and operate two FM radio stations (KRRN-FM 105.1 and KRCY-FM 92.7) in Las Vegas, the nation’s 24th ranked Hispanic market. Entravision also operates two television stations in Las Vegas, a Univision affiliate and Telefutura affiliate.
