EresMás Acquires StarMedia Assets.

EresMas and Starmedia Networks have announced the closing of an important deal. EresMas acquires Starmedia’s portal www.starmedia.com and all the portals that belong to www.latinred.net (Latinchat, Latinmail, Latincards, Gratisweb, Latinguía, Latingames, Clasifica, among others). With more than 1 billion monthly page views and 12,3 million unique visitors, Starmedia is one of the pan-regional leaders in the Spanish Speaking Markets.
With this deal, eresMas consolidates his position as one of the leading players in the Latin Internet Markets and gain presence in the US Hispanic market. With this merger eresMas potential target market grows by 5, up to the 39 million users in Spain, Latin America and the US. Altogether, these markets will reach 80 million users by 2005.

The list of assets acquired to Starmedia include all the brands and portals of Starmedia and Latinred in all the countries in which it has presence, including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, U.S and Venezuela.
