Galavisión Rediscovering The Spirit Of The Americas.

Beginning this July Galavisión viewers will tune in to accompany their young guides, Roberto Alcaraz and Leticia Vasquez, as they reconnect with their Latino roots in Caminante. This colorful new program will travel to eight Latin American countries and Spain so that viewers can rediscover their cultural, historical and spiritual traditions. These exciting escapades will explore the sacred sites, celebrations, processions, music and culture of Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Cuba.

Caminante is a monthly half hour show starting July 21st at 7:00 pm (EST.) Episodes of Caminante will include journeys to the following celebrations:

Mystery Play – Elche, Spain
Virgen de Regla – Regla, Cuba
Fiesta del Yamor – Otavalo, Ecuador
Dia de la Unidad Nacional – Tikal, Guatemala

Day of the Dead – Oaxaca, Mexico
Las Pastorelas – Patzcuaro, Mexico
Holy Week – Antigua, Guatemala
Corpus Christi – Cuzco, Peru
Los Tambores de San Juan – Curiepe, Venezuela
