Yahoo! en Español & Radio Unica Team Up Online For World Cup 2002.

Yahoo! en Español has joined forces with Spanish-language Radio Unica Network, to deliver compelling online sports news information of FIFA World Cup 2002 to Spanish-speaking soccer fans in the U.S. and around the world. From May 27, 2002 – June 30, 2002 fans online will be able to catch the best of Jorge Ramos, highly respected sportscaster and producer of “Unica en Deportes”, along with his five-member sports broadcasting team through a special link on Yahoo! En Español Deportes (espanol.sports.yahoo.com).

Yahoo! en Español will provide online daily, live, and on-demand audio broadcasts of Radio Unica Network’s sports program Unica en Deportes and the Network’s special broadcast, “Japon/Corea al Despertar”. The special will feature in-depth commentaries and analysis of the players and the tournament, complementing Yahoo’s existing line-up of online sports coverage. Yahoo! en Español and Radio Unica will also cover the “greatest month in sports” with highlights and featured daily articles from two of the Network’s well-known sports-talk personalities, Alvaro Riet and Hammer Londoño.
