US Army Launches ‘Revealing’.
April 28, 2002
The U.S. Army is gearing up to launch “Revealing” its 2nd National Hispanic Advertising Campaign showcasing Hispanic soldiers on the job illustrating traits valued by target viewers. The “Revealing” campaign will initially include two spots, Signs and Multi-tasking, which will portray a variety of jobs from the over 200 career and specialized training opportunities within the U.S. Army.
The campaign, appropriately titled “Revealing”, communicates to the viewer new and culturally relevant information that the target audience may not have known about the Army. The U.S. Army believes in diversity and sought to increase the number of Hispanics that enlist in the Army at all levels.
Television spots will begin running on May 28 on Spanish speaking network TV which includes Univision, Galavision, Telemundo, Telefutura and Fox en Español. Radio spots will begin airing in July in key Hispanic markets. All principal talent seen in the “Revealing” spots are active duty and reserve soldiers currently serving in the U.S.
