Hispanic Media 100 & The Cartel Group Honor ‘Journalist of the Year’.

In conjunction with The Cartel Group of San Antonio, Tex., the Hispanic Media 100 will recognize one journalist who during
his career, has proven to be a role model to his peers in the media industry and has been a significant contributor to the Hispanic community as a whole nationwide. The award will be given out at Hispanic Media 100’s annual dinner September 20 in Miami.

“The Journalist of the Year is a unique recognition, because it singles out one Spanish-language journalist of the 100 who are considered to be of the most influential in the United States,” said Chris Day, CEO of Event Concepts, Inc., owner of the Hispanic Media programs. “Not only must this journalist be a quality media person, he must also set an example for others in the industry.”
