Meyl – GSM @ Univision WUVP-TV In Philadelphia.

WUVP-TV, the newest full-power Spanish-language television station in the Delaware Valley, has hired Will Meyl to the post of General Sales Manager for the station.

The announcement was made recently by Augustine Martinez, Regional General Manager at WUVP-TV.

Effective immediately, Meyl will oversee all aspects of the WUVP-TV sales effort. This will include responsibility for the Sales Department’s planning, organizational and marketing strategies. In addition, Meyl will supervise the Research and Traffic Departments.

Meyl joins WUVP-TV after leading the sales efforts at Paxson Communications’ new Boston station, WBPX-TV. Prior to that, he spent over 15 years in television sales and sales management in the Boston and Albany, New York markets. Meyl began his career in 1975 in the Albany radio market.
