mun2 televisión ‘casting’.

For many, the difference between a dream becoming a reality or not is defined into one single moment, one specific day that forever changes their lives. ‘Casting’, a new program that airs on mun2 television, the new Spanish-language TV alternative for young U.S. Hispanics, gives viewers a close look into the lives of young aspirants as they prepare to show off their talents in the audition of a lifetime. ‘Casting’, the first in a series, airs Saturday, January 19 at 8PM ET/PT.

“We felt it was important to highlight those young individuals who are trying very hard to make it in this world,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming for mun2 television. “They are passionate, talented and persistent people who will go through many barriers to achieve their goals, and that is what we want our viewers to see.”

Whether it’s dancing in their favorite singer’s new video, to be chosen as a part of the city’s most important ballet troupe, a role in a novela, an NBA dancer position, a job impersonating Jennifer Lopez or the chance to be the new WWF star, ‘Casting’ will show it all, every nerve-wrecking moment as the winners are selected. This is a show where the young aspirants are the main characters and their true feelings and emotions are the script. There is a lot at stake for each individual and many high expectations for what could be a first step leading to bigger and greater things.

‘Casting’ cameras will focus on the group and individual tryouts; feature the private talks between the casting directors and choreographers, and the final reactions of the losers, the winners and the organizers themselves as they unveil the reasoning behind their selection and the good things that await the lucky few. Through each participant, viewers will experience the nerves, the waiting and the wondering. During this first ‘Casting’ viewers get a front seat into the audition of the Miami Heat dancers. More than 370 young women applied, but only 20 will be selected to dance at 41 local Heat games and make special appearances in the community.
