McDonald’s Northeast @ The Bravo Group.

The Bravo Group has been selected by McDonald’s Northeast regional office as its agency of record for their Hispanic market advertising and public relations. The Bravo Group will be responsible for developing integrated Hispanic communications programs including public relations, advertising, direct mail and media planning/buying, in an effort to reach bilingual Latinos in the New York metropolitan area.

McDonald’s search for a new agency began three months ago. The Bravo Group was amongst a long list of potential agencies that was narrowed down, earlier in October.

“Both agencies did a terrific job in their presentations but in the end it was The Bravo Group’s ability to combine all the elements that we were searching for, that really impacted our final decision,” said Kim Hennig, Senior Marketing Manager for McDonald’s New York Metro region. Hennig also mentioned that she does not see any major changes in the way that Hispanic marketing has been handled in the past, but that they will be looking for recommendations from The Bravo Group as they are sure that the agency will make its mark in future plans.

This win was particularly important for The Bravo Group’s Chairman and CEO, Daisy Expósito-Ulla, as McDonald’s was one of the first accounts that she worked on when she began her advertising/public relations career. “I am extremely excited about our new association with McDonald’s and believe that this is the beginning of a long successful relationship.”
