La Opinión Readership Soars To New Heights.
June 9, 2001
A recently released study confirmed increases in La Opinión’s readership for the third year in a row. The 2001 Gallup Media Usage Poll-Los Angeles DMA highlighted that La Opinión’s daily readership grew to over 679,000 adults, an increase of over 9% from last year. Sunday’s readership numbers were even more dramatic, as the newspaper’s readership increased to over 682,000 readers, increasing over 11% from the year before.
In addition to the readership gains, La Opinión evolves as the second most widely read newspaper in Los Angeles, tied with Los Angeles Daily News. All this at a time when newspapers in general are experiencing a decline in readership.
