Univision Online, Inc. and General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM) announced the launch of “El Camino Hacia el Exito” (The Road to Success), a scholarship program acknowledging Hispanic high school students and college undergraduates nationwide for their outstanding academic achievement and community service. The program will run for one year, offering four scholarships worth $5,000 each.

Community involvement, work experience, extracurricular activities, awards, honor society and statement of goals will also be taken into consideration.

Through this series of scholarships and other GM-sponsored programs, we hope to encourage academic excellence and to promote education as the “Road to Success.”
