Noticiero 47 En Accion Gains In Audience In NYC.

WNJU-TV/Telemundo 47 reached yet another milestone on Tuesday, June 6th, as its newscasts in the 6AM, 6PM, and 11PM time slots all exceeded or tied their respective Spanish-language competition, based on ratings figures reported by Nielsen’s NSI service. The 6PM edition of Noticiero T47 en Acción earned a 2.5 rating representing a 54% share of the viewing to Spanish-language television, while the 11PM edition reached a 2.1 rating, for a 55% share of Spanish-language viewing. Noticiero T47 Primera Edición, at 6AM, captured a 50% share of the Spanish-language audience.

WNJU-TV also captured nearly 80% of the viewing to Spanish-language television at 4PM with the new queen of talk, Laura en América. In fact, Laura’s performance on Tuesday was strong enough to exceed general market stations WCBS, WNYW and WPIX in addition to handily beating WXTV. And the Telemundo primetime telenovela lineup added up to a 50% share of Spanish-language viewing for WNJU-TV. On a sign-on/sign-off basis, WNJU-TV achieved a 48% share of viewing to Spanish-language television.
