HTVN Programming Deal With CNI Canal 40 In Mexico City.

Hispanic Television Network announced this morning an exclusive programming agreement with CNI Canal 40 in Mexico City. Major aspects of the deal have been determined and the agreement, when finalized, will include over 15 hours of live programming per week and access to CNI’s program library of over 7000 hours of first run original programming. CNI has agreed to let HTVN start broadcasting it’s live programming as early as June 2001 while details of the agreement are worked out. Additional programming will be scheduled as soon as the final deal is completed.

Javier Moreno Valle, Chairman and President of CNI said, “Hispanic Television Network is a strategic partner for us in the United States, expanding distribution of our programming and brand outside of Mexico, and provides U.S. Hispanics with excellent coverage of both U.S. and Mexico based News.”
