Univision 32 Salt Lake City launches ‘Noticias 32 Salt Lake City’ at 5 pm & 10PM

KUTH Univision 32 announced the addition of two daily local news broadcasts in the Salt Lake City market. “Noticias 32 Salt Lake City” (News 32 Salt Lake City), will air weeknights from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. MDT on Univision 32 Salt Lake City. Anchored by new local news talent, Irene Caso, the newscasts will feature local news, weather and sports coverage. The news team also includes multimedia journalist, Viviane Quintela; in addition to a team of reporters across the country.
“With the launch of ‘Noticias 32 Salt Lake City,’ we are responding to the great appetite the fastest growing community has for consuming local news,” said Luis Fernandez-Rocha, senior vice president and general manager of Univision Salt Lake City. “Univision 32 Salt Lake City remains committed to informing the Hispanic community with news of importance to them and we are thrilled to be able to extend our efforts with expanded coverage on a daily basis.”
Led by Caso, “Noticias 32 Salt Lake City’s” team of reporters will provide comprehensive news coverage that will range from breaking news to special segments including health and highlights from around the community. The newscast will also feature weather updates by meteorologist and oceanographer Gloria Carmona and her team from Univision’s full-equipped national weather center in Miami. Following the local newscasts, Univision 32 Salt Lake City will continue to broadcast the network’s award-winning national news programs, “Noticiero Univision” and “Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna.”
