UEFA Champions League returns to ESPN Deportes Radio

ESPN Deportes Radio has reached a sub-license agreement with Fox to broadcast the UEFA Champions League. The coverage kicks off with two live double headers: Zenit vs. Atlético and Ajax vs. Barcelona this afternoon and CSKA Moskva vs. Bayern and Real Madrid vs. Galatasaray on November 27.

“We are very proud of this accomplishment, which not only strengthens our play-by-play offering but also makes a big difference in our continued mission of serving the U.S. Hispanic sports fan,” said Oscar Ramos, General Manager, ESPN Deportes Radio. “We are very confident that this coveted soccer tournament will provide  an experience that heavily resonates with our fans and with our advertisers.”

ESPN Deportes Radio’s coverage includes all stages, semifinals and the final.  Jorge Ramos, “el relator de las Americas” – commentator of the Americas, and Hernan Pereyra, one of the most accomplished young sports radio personalities, will be among the on-air talent calling the games and hosting pre- and post-shows for each match.
