Telemundo Media partners with Target on “Celebremos Juntos”

Telemundo Media partnered with Target for the first-ever “Celebremos Juntos” holiday special which aired on Sunday, Dec. 1 on Telemundo. Engaging families to spark conversations and empowering consumers to make this season their own, Telemundo and Target partnered to create a custom photo-based digital campaign for Target asking viewers to submit their most festive holiday photo for a chance to win a $1,000 Target gift card and the opportunity for their photo to be featured in a LIVE commercial.

The contest winners were the Nieves family from Lowell, Massachusetts; the Espinosa family from Edingburg, Texas; the Viveros family from Palmdale, California; and the Cardenas family from Rancho Cucamongo, California. To participate, viewers logged on to www.telemundo.com/celebremosjuntos and were asked to submit one festive holiday photo using the hashtag #asifesteyojo. All submissions were entered into a special casting for the opportunity to have their photos featured in a LIVE commercial during Telemundo’s holiday special. The four winners were chosen and each received a $1,000 Target gift card. Target also awarded 40 additional winners with $25 Target gift cards. The contest ran from Nov. 20, 2013 to Dec. 1, 2013.

During the show, Telemundo’s “La Voz Kids” season one winner, Paola Guanche, finalists Alanis González and Alan Ponce joined forces with other fellow contestants and Telemundo stars from some of the network’s top programs, including Un Nuevo Día, Al Rojo Vivo, Noticiero Telemundo, Suelta la Sopa, Titulares y Más and Caso Cerrado, as well as familiar faces from telenovelas and invited guests, to create a star-studded, magical holiday program.

The all-stars came together on this Christmas special to reminisce on a great year and demonstrate their appreciation for all the support and affection they received from the audience and their fans.
