NUVOtv announces premiere of “RELATABLE”

NUVOtv will premiere Steve Trevino’s Comedy Special “Steve Trevino: RELATABLE,” on Sunday, February 16 at 11:00pm ET/PT. Trevino, one of the fastest rising comedians and the voice of the 21st century Mexican-American, headlines a laugh-out-loud peek into the human psyche through candid stories about his life as a member of the working class in everyday America.

Trevino is a Mexican-American comedian who veers away from the predictable ethnic punch lines, and relives his personal stories of losing weight, being a frustrated Los Angeles transplant, and the trials and tribulations of being a married man. Finding his way from a Hispanic upbringing in a small South Texas town to living his dream in Hollywood has infused Trevino’s comedy with a “TEX-MEX” sensibility, yet as a performer he dishes out a uniquely American voice that transcends anything about ethnicity, making him “RELATABLE.”

Outside of being a national touring headliner, Trevino has made memorable appearances on top television series including “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” Comedy.TV, Despierta America and “Comics Unleashed with Byron Aaron.” Most recently, Trevino landed in the Nielsen Top 20, with his first Showtime comedy special, “Grandpa Joe’s Son.” Trevino is currently developing a sitcom based on his stand-up career.
