ImpreMedia to launch “Quiero Más Fútbol” supplement

ImpreMedia announced that coinciding with the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, impreMedia will launch “Quiero Más Fútbol” (I Want More Soccer), a glossy soccer publication that will be distributed weekly on Fridays in Los Angeles within La Opinion and in New York within El Diario. The print launch of “Quiero Más Fútbol” follows the successful December 2013 digital launch and is designed for the soccer enthusiast looking for in-depth soccer content beyond game scores.

ImpreMedia will have extensive on-the-ground presence in Brazil, reporting on the behind-the-scenes stories on the action both on and off the field, as well as the broader impact the World Cup outcomes will have on the game of soccer internationally. “Quiero Más Fútbol” columnists include Carlos Albert and Jorge Witker. Columnists Mario Concha, Jairo Giraldo, Ángel Soto, Cristian Echeverría and Ricardo López Juárez also will be featured during the World Cup.

“Our readers have a great desire for soccer content and with the commencement of the World Cup in June, it is a time of particularly high engagement among our audience,” said Hernando Ruiz-Jiménez, Executive Vice President, impreMedia. “The ‘Quiero Más Fútbol’ weekly inserts provide advertisers with a timely and strategic opportunity to connect with U.S. Hispanic consumers during a period when they are actively seeking out and devouring content related to the most- watched global sporting event.”
