Cinelatino appoints RMViSTAR’s Rose-Marie Vega as International Distribution Agent

Cinelatino appoints RMViSTAR founder Rose-Marie Vega as the international distribution agent for the company’s vast catalogue of premium movie titles.
In this newly-formed role, Vega will be responsible for representing and licensing Cinelatino’s extensive library of movies and rights to cable and free-TV channels and VOD and OTT platforms in Latin America.
“Rose-Marie Vega has more than 30 years of experience successfully distributing some of the biggest U.S. movies and television series throughout Latin America,” said James M. McNamara, Chairman of Cinelatino. “We are confident that with her expertise and connections, we will be able to distribute our programming to top Latin American content providers.”
Vega is the head of RMViSTAR, a boutique distribution company she launched in 2012. Throughout her career she has worked with some of the top production companies, including Lorimar, Universal Pictures, NBC, and HBO, and has experience distributing shows that have made television history, such as “Dallas,” “Law & Order,” “Friends,” and “True Blood,” among others.

Cinelatino’s library includes a mix of blockbuster hits, regional favorites, and late-night films, such as Feo de Dia, Lindo de Noche, one of the all-time highest-grossing box office hits form the Dominican Republic, Por Tu Culpa, a romantic Mexican drama starring Luis Fernando Peña and Adriana Fonseca, and Elite, a Puerto Rican thriller featuring Ex-Miss Universe Denise Quiñones.
Cinelatino plans to add more films for international distribution from their library of 450 films in the near future.
