Through the years, I have worked with many of the masters of Cuban music, and I am very excited to pay homage to them through this unique series,” said Nelson Albareda, GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® – winning producer, and president of Eventus. “I am proud to present this first-ever concert series, which serves as a platform to educate and enrich our community with the sounds and heritage of Cuban music. Together with the Arsht Center, I am looking forward to making Cuba Beat an ongoing year-round cultural event,” added Albareda.

The series, which will be performed in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall, will be presented on Saturday evenings at 8 PM.
“Inspired by Miami’s rich Hispanic culture, Cuba Beat is a terrific and exciting addition to the Arsht Center’s diverse year-round programming mix,” said John Richard, President and CEO of the Arsht Center. “This series promises to highlight the roots of Cuban music and the outstanding proponents of that sound that hail from all over the world.”
