Perez named VP and GM of Salem Communications Corporation Miami Market

Salem Communications Corporation announced the appointment of Felix Perez as VP/GM of its Miami cluster. Felix comes to Salem with a long and successful history in the radio industry that spans nearly three decades including a particular expertise in Spanish radio. Felix’s resume includes ten years with Univision, and in all, nearly 23 years in Spanish media. Felix most recently was the VP/GM at Univision in New York.
Allen Power, Senior Vice President for Salem’s Radio Division, stated, “We’re excited about having Felix at the helm in Miami. His years of leadership in media; his focus in Spanish radio; and his track record for exploiting new opportunities and solving problems make him uniquely qualified for this role.”
Perez commented, “Salem’s values and mission are a great match for my own personal business philosophy. The company’s record of delivering for all of its constituencies while holding true to its mission, makes it unique. I am thrilled to join Salem in Miami.”
Felix and his wife of 29 years, Iliana, have three grown children. One of his children will be a little closer to him now since she currently resides in Tampa after graduating from the University of Tampa.
