Univision Communications Inc. announces New Executive Appointments

Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) announced that it has named Kevin Conroy chief strategy & data officer and president, Enterprise Development for UCI and Isaac Lee as UCI president of News & Digital and Fusion CEO. Conroy and Lee are corporate officers for UCI and will continue to report to UCI President and CEO Randy Falco. Conroy will continue to be based in New York and Lee in Miami.

“Kevin and Isaac are two of the best leaders that I have worked with in my career and these appointments speak to our commitment to continue to lead, drive innovation and disrupt the media landscape,” said Falco.

In a new, expanded role, Conroy will lead UCI’s efforts in data, next generation measurement and consumer insights. He also will continue to lead the Company’s Enterprise Development team which is focused on identifying and incubating new business opportunities across UCI’s diverse portfolio of brands to create products and services that empower and enrich the quality of life for Hispanic consumers.

Conroy helped lead the launch of the first-ever bilingual digital video network, UVideos and digital audio product Uforia. He has also led the roll out of a new modernized on demand and live streaming digital video platform and responsive CMS design, and has led partnerships with leading technology companies and mobile developers to expand and enhance user experiences on Univision’s digital platforms and on an array of internet connected devices. Under his leadership, Univision was named the “Best Digital Television Group” in 2013 and “Team of the Year” in 2014 by Cynopsis Digital and was honored seven times at the 2014 Social TV Awards, including the “Best Broadcast Network” award.

Conroy will continue to lead Univision’s Enterprise Development team which has successfully grown Tarjeta Univision, a reloadable prepaid card for Hispanics; Univision’s Farmacia program, the leading Hispanic pharmacy discount program; ¿Qué Crees? con Univision, a consumer survey product; Crédito y Más, the first bilingual full-service credit monitoring/reporting product; and Univision Mobile, a pioneering prepaid wireless service created specifically for Hispanic Americans.

In addition to continuing to lead Univision News and Fusion, Lee will lead the Company’s digital efforts across UCI. Since joining UCI in 2010 Lee has built a best in class news organization that is recognized around the world for quality journalism and commitment to informing its audiences, including winning multiple awards as Peabody, IRE and National Headliner Awards for investigative reporting, as well as a Cronkite Award for Excellence in Political Journalism, documentary and investigative awards.
