How America Views Home Ownership 2015 [REPORT]

Ipsos partnered with Wells Fargo to conduct the second annual “How America Views Home Ownership” survey in order to assess the general public’s attitudes toward home ownership and their understanding of the home-buying process. While large majorities consider themselves to be financially responsible and knowledgeable about the financial process involved in purchasing a home, the survey reveals that many misconceptions persist, particularly around credit score and down payment requirements.

This year’s survey also explored preferences when it comes to completing the mortgage process, finding that consumers today are looking for both the convenience of online access as well as personal guidance.
