Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony on ESPN and ESPN Deportes

ESPN and ESPN Deportes kicks off their exclusive, multiplatform coverage of the 2015 Pan American Games with Opening Ceremony LIVE from Toronto, Friday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET. with Jose Ramon Fernandez, David Failteson, Carolina Guillen and Fernando Palomo onsite.
 
Hosted by Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila and actor/comedian Rick Miller, the Opening Ceremony will feature Canada’s globally celebrated cultural icon, Cirque du Soleil, creator and producer of this one-night-only original production with revolutionary stagecraft and theatrical and cultural elements to welcome the 41 countries and territories of the Americas to Canada and officially open the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games with the lighting of the cauldron.
 
ESPN and ESPN Deportes will provide extensive, bilingual coverage from Toronto across TV, radio and digital platforms, including social media using the hashtag #PanAmXESPN and #YoDigoPresente throughout the 17-day event (Friday, July 10 – Sunday, July 26).
