‘Instructions Not Included’ to premiere Cinelatino
October 23, 2015
Instructions Not Included (“No Se Aceptan Devoluciones”) will premiere in on Cinelatino on Sunday, October 25, with back to back showings at 9pm ET/6pm PT & 11pm ET/8pm PT. Cinelatino has exclusive U.S. Spanish-language pay-tv rights.
Instructions Not Included also broke box office records when it was released in Mexico in 2013, quickly out-performing the megahit “Nosotros Los Nobles” (The Noble Family), which had become the country’s highest-grossing film on record when it was released just months before. Acclaimed by critics, the film has won numerous awards at prestigious international film festivals.
Written and starring Mexican superstar Eugenio Derbez, Instructions Not Included is a heart-warming dramedy about a playboy who is forced to ‘grow up’ when an ex-lover drops off a baby daughter he never knew he had on his doorstep and disappears. The film is a moving portrayal of the bond that develops between a father and his daughter.
“Instructions Not Included has shattered U.S. box office records, reinforcing the demand among U.S. Hispanics for high-quality films in Spanish,” said James M. McNamara, Vice Chairman of Hemisphere Media Group, Cinelatino’s parent company. “Cinelatino is proud to be the first pay-tv network where U.S. audiences can see the film, underscoring our commitment to acquire the biggest box office hits and award-winning films from Mexico and Latin America.”
The film also stars American actress Jessica Lindsey, Mexican sweetheart Karla Souza, and newcomer child actress Loreto Peralta.
