Another 10 reasons why we #Latinos are the original #Millennials

As we pointed out last week on the first installment of this listicle (check it out here: https://hispanicad.com/agency/business/10-reasons-why-we-latinos-are-original-millennials ), all those behavioral insights and personality traits attributed to Millennials were true about us Latinos way before the Millennial epithet was even coined.
No wonder we Hispanic marketers and ad execs are in a privileged position to handle this oh-so intriguing demographic.
11) Shop til you drop is our favorite contact sport.
12) Impulse purchase is our middle name. A.k.a. shopping therapy.
13) We are pathological early adopters with a penchant to burn our disposable income on untested, usually useless novelty products.
14) We are the ultimate “bingers”: we binge on food, confectionaries & sugary stuff, alcohol, sex, sleep. And shopping
15) We can’t say we are 100% color blind but we are the least racist ethnicity or socioeconomic group you’ll ever find. Interracial marriages & mating is commonplace among us. We go from pitch black to milk white and every hue in between.
16) We’re addicted to music. If we are not listening to it on some device or other we hear it in our heads. Non stop.
17) We’ll break into dance at the drop of a hat.
18) We’re shameless, celeb-obsessed groupies.
19) We get our news through unorthodox channels: namely social media, anecdotal armchair gibberish and gossip. We are fertile ground for all sorts of conspiracy theories.
20) We are deeply mistrustful, indifferent or simply oblivious to political systems, establishments, elites, governments, corporations. And arbitrary national boundaries, of course. They’ve screwed us and our ancestors way too many times.
