GolTV to broadcast Venezuela’s First Division Soccer League

GolTV has secured exclusive broadcast rights with Venezuela’s first division soccer league, Liga Venezolana.  

Under the new multi-year agreement, GolTV will have the exclusive U.S. broadcast rights to the best match of the week, plus a weekly highlights program featuring all of the league’s teams and match results.

“The acquisition of Venezuela’s best match of the week is part of our mission to bring GolTV viewers the very best of professional soccer,” said Constantino Voulgaris, GolTV’s EVP of Programming and New Business Development. “GolTV’s programming strategy is multidimensional.  We are putting greater focus on the quality of the content and acquiring only the best leagues or the best teams within their respective leagues.”
