Univision’s “Despierta America” celebrates 19 years at Walt Disney World

Univision Network’s “Despierta America” (Wake up America) celebrated its 19th anniversary with a special LIVE magical broadcast from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The four-hour show featured guest appearances and performances by Disney star Sofia Carson, Regional Mexican Music singer Luis Coronel, as well as from beloved Disney characters, partaking in its fun-filled mix of entertainment, news and information that viewers rely on to start their day.
 
“Despierta America” hosts Alan Tacher, Alejandro Chaban, Ana Patricia, Francisca Lachapel, Johnny Lozada, Karla Martinez and William Valdes, along with the rest of the show’s special contributors and reporters led the festivities in the magical setting. The show featured celebrations of Ana Patricia’s daughter’s first birthday and a special first time visit by William Valdes’ beloved grandmother to the Magic Kingdom. The anniversary show closed with a heartwarming performance by the young host dedicated to her.

“Despierta América”, co-hosted by Alan, Alejandro, Ana Patricia, Francisca, Johnny, Karla, and Satcha airs Monday to Friday at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT (6:00 a.m. Central) on Univision Network.
