“Las Muñecas de la Mafia” on WAPA América

WAPA América will premiere the hit Colombian narco-novela Las Muñecas de la Mafia (Mafia Dolls) on Monday, September 19, at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

The successful Colombian series starring Angelica Blandon and Fernando Solorzano is based on the hit novel “Las Fantasticas” (The Fantastics), by Andrés López. The series revolves around five beautiful girls from “El Carmen”, a fictional Colombian town run by drug kingpin Braulio Bermudez. As Braulio begins to tire of his relationship with his wife, he decides to indulge in the company of younger women. Dazzled by the luxuries and extravagancies that surround the drug-trafficking world, the five girls decide to make a change in their lives and become Braulio’s mistresses, which turns into a torturous nightmare for themselves and their families.

Filmed in various cities across North and South America including Miami, Cartagena, and Bogota, the dramatic series produced by Caracol is one of the all-time most-watched series in Colombia.
