Borghetti joins the hosting team of Venga la Alegría on Azteca America

As part of the newly renovated Azteca America daytime show “Venga la Alegría”, actor and singer Patricio Borghetti will join the team as one of the principal hosts of the show.

Patricio Borghetti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on December 5, 1973.  He has been a fixture in Mexican entertainment since the 1990s, when he acted in several telenovelas aimed at a young audience, among them “DKDA: Sueños de Juventud” (1999), “El Juego de la Vida” (2001), “Rebelde” (2004), and “Teresa” (2010).

Borghetti has also appeared on reality shows “Big Brother VIP 3” and “Cantando por un Sueño”.

As a solo singer, Patricio Borghetti has released two studio albums: the self-titled “Patricio Borghetti”(2002) and “Eternamente” (2006).  He was also a part of the musical group DKDA, launched from the successful telenovela of the same name.  The group released one album.

In the new season of “Venga la Alegría”, Borghetti joins co-host Natalia Valenzuela.  The Colombian host is best known for her capsules on Azteca 7’s “Cinema Platinum” in Mexico and rose to fame after representing Colombia in the Miss International 2011 pageant.

Patricio Borghetti and Natalia Valenzuela will host “Venga la Alegría” alongside Ingrid Coronado, Sergio Sepúlveda, Tábata Jalil, Vanessa Claudio, Ricardo Casares, and “El Capi”. Tania Rincón will be on maternity leave from the show for a few months.

“Venga la Alegría” airs Monday through Friday at 12 pm on Azteca America.
