Univision Radio’s “En Boca de León” goes national

Univision Communications Inc. announced the nationwide expansion of the radio magazine show, “En Boca de León” (In León’s Mouth) hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist León Krauze, who is also the anchor of the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscast on Univision Los Angeles KMEX 34. The one-hour program airs live Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. and will feature real-time conversations with callers on topics including politics, current events, pop culture and sports. “En Boca de León” will air on the following stations: Los Angeles – KTNQ – 1020 AM, New York – WADO – 1280 AM, Miami – WQBA – 1140 AM, Chicago – WRTO – 1200 AM, Dallas – KFLC – 1270 AM, Houston – KLAT – 1010 AM, San Antonio – KCOR – 1350 AM, Las Vegas – KLSQ – 870 AM and in McAllen – KGBT – 1530 AM.

Listeners can also tune-in to two new podcasts hosted by Krauze; “Epicentro,” which includes analysis of the week’s current events, and “La Mesa,” which features stories and profiles of Hispanic Americans across the country. “La Mesa” is an extension of Krauze’s book and weekly news segment, both titled “La Mesa – Historias de Nuestra Gente” (The Table: Stories of Our People).
